Big Way Of Life

The Pembrokeshire Family Challenge, Way of Life Project, is a new whole family support project operating in Pembrokeshire from January 2009.

Families taking up the programme will receive free, intensive support from a personal lifestyle coach to help them make health improvements to their lifestyles.

Personal lifestyle coaches will work with families to make an initial assessment of their needs and agree a twelve week programme, aimed at bringing about more positive behaviour and attitudes towards:

• healthy eating
• physical activity
• active play

Programmes will be tailored to suit the needs of each, individual family.

Many of the activities will be based at home but there will also be opportunities for families to join in with group activities where appropriate.
